Turkey is one of the most renowned countries for superior fabric production from their exceptional cotton fields which has as much to do with the fertile regions in which it is grown with the centuries-old processes by which it is spun.
100% Turkish Cotton, therefore, is a symbol of quality in the linen business. Patak Textile is headquartered in Denizli, Türkiye with production arriving every day from its factory in Denizli, Turkey, the mainland of textile in Turkey and in the world. Let’s analyze these elements to determine what is so special about Turkish Cotton?
Turkish Cotton Attributes
Turkish cotton is grown exclusively in the Aegean Region. Turkish towels–sometimes called Peshtemal, Hammam or Fouta towels–are made from Turkish Cotton, premium cotton that has extra-long fibers. Using longer fiber cotton means fewer joins, which results in stronger and smoother cotton threads. Because of this unique material, Turkish towels are known to become even softer, fluffier, and more absorbent with successive washings. This works especially well well for our robes and towels.
All of our robes are made from authentic 100 percent organic Turkish cotton. As a result, they're especially luxurious and exude a sense of good taste to anyone who slips into them. The towels are as absorbent as traditional towels but take up less room and dry very quickly.
Eco-Friendly Cotton Production Methods
From the Denizli factory, which is eco-friendly runs mostly on the use of solar energy power, our cotton linens are fabricated into bathrobes, bath, beach and pool towels, but also duvet and pillow covers, and bedsheet. We go the extra step of adapting these to our domestic and foreign customers according to their needs. This has gained Patak Textile client exports to Germany, Austria, France, Poland, Sweden, the United Kingdom, as well as America.
Seals of Sustainable Manufacturing
Turkish towels were invented in the 17th century in Bursa, Turkey. They also can be called Turkish peshtemal bath towels, foutas, pestemals, and hammams. A Turkish towel should be made in Turkey on looms with Turkish cotton. Along with this distinction, we also have several certifications that seal our finished products with the additional comfort of knowing that your product was ethically made.
- The Responsible Down Standard recognizes and rewards the best practices in animal welfare even if there is no legislation requiring companies to do so.
- DOWN PASS certification guarantees high quality and the certainty that down and feathers used as filling material are ethically sourced and come from tightly controlled and traceable supply chains.
- The Woolmark logo is the world’s best-known textile quality fiber brand, representing a long-term commitment between woolgrowers, mills, brands, and consumers to provide quality assurance to the supply chain and end consumer.
- STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety. If a textile article carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be certain that every component of this piece of clothing, such as the thread, buttons, and other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the article, therefore, is harmless in human ecological terms.
